CadencePro Privacy Policy

CadencePro (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the CadencePro iOS and watchOS application (“the App”) collects and how it is used.

1. Information We Collect

CadencePro is designed to be offline-first and zero-backend. We do not operate any server that receives your personal data. Specifically:

• Health & Fitness Data — When you grant permission, the App reads and writes workout, heart rate, step count and distance data via Apple HealthKit. This data remains on your device and is synchronized only through your personal iCloud account (Apple’s private CloudKit container iCloud.com.cadencepro.app). We have no access to it.
• Motion & Location — CoreMotion (accelerometer/altimeter) and GPS data are used only locally on-device to compute real-time cadence and grade. This data is never transmitted off-device.
• Purchase Data — In-App Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple’s StoreKit. We receive only a verification token to unlock Pro features; no payment information is collected by us.

2. What We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect analytics, telemetry, crash reports, advertising identifiers, or tracking data.
• We do not use third-party SDKs that track you across apps or websites.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any personal data, because we do not have any.

3. Data Storage

All your personal data (workout history, training plans, cadence zones, profile) is stored in SwiftData on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, synced privately to your iCloud account via Apple’s CloudKit. You can delete all data at any time by deleting the App.

4. Children’s Privacy

CadencePro is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

5. Your Rights

Because we do not collect your data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf. To manage data Apple stores on your behalf, use Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated “Last updated” date.
